If you like lamb and burger, you need to make this dish! We had it for dinner tonight and this is a direct quote from my 8 year old, "the flavor is just straight up brilliant, the crunchiness of the cucumber and the soft and tanginess of the yogurt just goes so well with the meat". So what are you waiting for, this could be on your dinner table tomorrow!
Ingredients:
5 brioche slider roll
1 lb of ground lamb
15 springs of cilantro
1/2 of a small onion
2 garlic cloves
1 egg
2 tsp cumin, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp gram marsala, 1 tsp paprika
1.5 tsp of salt, dash of black and white pepper
To assemble the slider you will need:
cucumber slices, plain greek yogurt, mint
First thing first, put onion, cilantro, and garlic in a small food processor and puree everything. Put the ground lamb in a mixing bowl and then add the vegetable puree to the lamb.

Continue to add the rest of the ingredients! Add 1 egg and then the rest of the spices, salt and pepper. I like strong flavor but if you are not a big fan of "in your face" big flavors, simply cut all the spices in half. And then start mixing everything in. Regardless of what you do, just make sure you mix your meat in one direction, I like to do it clockwise. I am not sure why but that's what my mom told me so I assume it's some kind of old Asian wisdom. After you are done, it should look like this:

I then put it in the fridge for 4-6 hours to let the flavor blend with each other. If you don't have the time it's okay, but it's better to let the meat "rest" for a bit. About 30 minutes before you cook it, take the meat out of the fridge. Form them into patties, I typically make 5 patties out of 1 lb of ground lamb. Each patty weighs around 4.2-4.5 ounces. The math was not adding up for me at first, but then I realize I added whole bunch of stuff (vege and spices) in there, then that made more sense.
Then it's grill time! Once the patties are cooked, put them on the brioche slider. Then add some cucumber slices, yogurt, and mint! You can also make some tzatziki or buy some tzatziki to add on top of the patty! Bon appetite!!
